STYLES
A rug can be as unique as its creator, hence the importance of its origin.

The most common and renowned styles of rugs are Persian, Afghan, Pakistani, Baluchi, Indian, Turkish, Chinese, among others; however, each one is extraordinary. The making of this art was introduced to India thanks to the Mughal Emperor Akbar, who brought Persian weavers alongside skilled artists to produce rugs and rugs for his palace.

In Balmaceda we work and use the ancient techniques of both India and Nepal with our essence and avant-garde Mexican style; An example is our first collection called Fossil, which are irregular pieces, made of different materials, such as natural silk, wool and metallic threads; with it, we seek to reflect those internal monsters that we manage to dismember throughout our lives.
